Make Death Island darker

Hey, im in the middle of modding the heck out of Death Island, but im not sure on how to make the map dark. but really night time dark... any help is appreciated

Well its under <sky> sometimes <fog>

to mod that part of the darkness...

this is the simplist way without PMIng

to make it night edit the lightmaps.

on a map like blood gulch, where if i follow that tut, the sky would be daytime, but everything else would be dark. how do i change that?

EDIT: and by the way for some reason, i keep getting this error whenever i try to open a bitmap:

funny thing is, the bitmaps.map file IS in the map folder.

well do what i do. extract the .sky bitmap from the bitmaps list, and open it up in photoshop, and darken it...did you removee the lens?

that is because your trying to open a map that isnt in the halo maps folder. is this for HCE or HPC?
