1. I have a bunch of ppf's that change gun and vehicle models, but I don't have them for the levels I want. I tried saving the .obj files and importing them into the maps I want, but I usually get a message saying that the file has too many vertices or indices. Also, the patches seem to remove some of the models. For example the assualt rifle has three models by defualt, but most of the patches I have seem to get rid of two of them. How do you get rid of them? Is it possible to convert patches to work on different levels? How do you replace a model with one that has more vertices?
2. How do you make it night time? What do you need to change? I tried changing the fog and the bitmaps on the sky, but it doesn't seem to be working and I'm not sure what else to do.
3. Is it possible to change the reticle for a weapon without replacing its entire UI? Like replacing the assualt rifle reticle with the pistol reticle.
4. Is it possible to move the AI in a level? I tried moving the AI spawns in Spark Edit, but it wouldn't even let me select them.
5. Is it possible to add more AI into a level?
6. Is the rebuild feature of HMT just for PC, or does it work on XBOX too?
7. How much cheese can you eat?

Well I don't have much of an answer for question 1, that stuff takes more study,but a lot of stuff has to be changed so it will work, see pokecancers posts. Question 2, you need to darkin the ground light map, or change the small dds textures under bloodgulch,to a black or gray or white , to control the ambient light,you do this by injecting a bitmap over the gravity rifle,and swaping the tag info to that texture,!!!!!!! SEE MaCeGaC's light map tutorial it is good. 3 I have swapped reticuals in HMT,like drive by hog has plasma reticual, easy. 4 & 5 yes, but I can't remember where I read it, some where here in AI tutorials, and I think AI spawn in the vehicals, so move them. 6 NO , HMT will NOT rebuild Xbox maps. 7 I can eat LOTTTTS of cheese, I don't like milk, but the power of cheese is mighty, I spend 30 dollars a month for cheese. :shock: Have Fun

Thanks, I was able to find a bunch of stuff about question 1. I haven't read all of it or tried any of it yet, but I will later today. I wasn't able to find MaCeGaC's light map tutorial. I can swap the reticles, but only if I swap the whole UI. I'd like to change the assualt rifle retical, but still be able to see how many bullets are in it. I don't really care about that very much though. I found a bunch of stuff about AI in mp, but nothing about sp. I know you can have them spawn in vehicles, but I don't really want to do that. I'm more interested in moving them around than I am with making more of them. Assuming that it is possible to move them, does it screw them up? I mean, will they just stand there like idiots, or do they still move around and stuff? I know that if you change the speed, acceleration, turning, etc. of the dropship it will drop them in different places, but then the dropships end up running into walls and dropping guys out of the sky. If I just moved the dropships in spark edit would it change where the guys are dropped? Why doesn't it spar edit let you move the AI spawns? Oh, and I forgot to mention that I was talking about sp levels before. There are already tons of mods for mp that are much better than anything I could do, but I haven't been able to find more than a handful of decent sp mods. Also, is there a way to switch which weapons the enemy has without exchanging all instances of one weapon for another? I can make it so all the plasma pistols are plasma rifles, but what if I just want to change the grunts plasma pistols to plasma rifles or something? Or how about changing the weapons you start with? I'd like to give all the marines with pistols assualt rifles, but I don't want to do it by making all the pistols assualt rifles.

Oops, I just realized that I have a program on my computer that imports models into HALO XBOX. I guess that should work.

Nevermind, the program seems to do absolutly nothing other than what I could already do. Everytime I try to inject one .obj file over a model that has three I get an error and nothing happens. I'm not sure if it still obeys the vertice/indice rule. HOW DO YOU DELETE .OBJ FILES FOR A MODEL? There are three by defualt, I only want one. Is there some way to import models with many vertices over ones with not so many? I've already searched the forum trying to figure it out, but pretty much everything I've found is for HALO PC.
