Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

K, if tool says I got open edges, is there any easy way to find them?

Tool makes a .wrl file that will show where all of your errors are. It is saved in your halo ce directory with the name of yourMapName.wrl. I'm not sure how to import it in 3ds max (because I have gmax and have to use chimp) but you can probally go to file -> import.

So you edit the WRL in 3ds max or some other program.
I mean i fix my open edges before export if i can.
By going into edit mesh, edge sub-edit then click select open edges and delete and find another way to do whatever.

in kirks4 tutorial the is an option that shows that, it's called STLcheck, first, deselect everythingin face mode, from your modifier list select stlcheck, deselect "change matID to:", and press check below the checkbox you can see how much faces/edges whatever are wrong and 3dsmax shows them, that way you can redo your faces

good luck

edit
however stlcheck is not always correct, the easiest way is by exporting, structuring, and look in tool what problems you might have
